My coming out went over pretty well (Christmas morning, SURPRISE!!) but I can’t say the same for my partner. She actually didn’t come out until everyone found out we were dating. Her mother was not a fan of me at all because I corrupted her daughter. She started to come around but unfortunately she was in a fatal car accident less than a year ago.

I will never know what is would have been like if I got to know her mother. It is very important to find support for those who have to face obsticles. It has been really rough on my partner but we are happily making it. (“highschool sweethearts”) We are going on 2 years now and I just want to thank you guys sooo much for choosing to tell us your story. I wish everyone the best and lending a hug for whoever may need one.
