making a difference

Hi girls. I would like to start with: sorry for my spelling. English is not my first language, not even my 2. :D.
I want to say thank you for the amazing show and the amazin YOU. I come from Slovakia. its small country in the middle of europe, but i have been living with my partner in Ireland for the past 4 years. reasently one of my good friend from slovakia came out to me and asked me if i could help her out in the “lesbian world”. so i started searching the slovak web for info, didnt find much. it surprised me, i mean we live in 2010, but it seam my homeland lives in 1900. there is one gay club in the capital city and we had our first gay pride this year, and it ended with the police having to arrest all kinds of protesting people, they had to keep the “celebrating” gays in a safe place. it almost makes me cry to think that i can not go back home and live an opened life. one of the things that surpised me the most is that there is no openly lesbian celebrity in slovakia. not even one!
its time for slovakia to wake up and accept the world for what it is. I want to make i difference, like you girls did
