Hey guys! My name is Amira and i’m 19. I just want to say that I love the show. You don’t see these things in my country so it’s great to have a show like The Real L Word to help with some of the questions. It’s very educational for a lesbian ‘in training’. All of the cast members are great and they each have a different story to tell. Tracy and Stamie you guys are a couple to admire.
Ok so now I kinda have a question for you lesbian gurus. How am I supposed to tell if somebody is gay? (without asking them)

I don't think there is exactly anyway you can tell if someone is gay. You just have to feel it out and see what happens.

Second..your question is quite difficult, for Romania especially, since i have a feeling gay girls there are still not so eager to be open about it.
I am in my 30ies, not gay though (made enough studies on myself), but kind of a "butch girl" i suppose. Did my searching and researching (mentally mostly in my case) in my teens. I met an openly gay girl that had no problems flirting with girls that didnt gave her any sign of romantic interest, but only acceptance of who she was.. From what i remember she got "lucky" a few times with girls that were, well .. trying things.
I also met girls that were just trying things ..
So ..well i suppose a question would be : how gay do the girls have to be ? I mean the ones you are interested in..
Hehe ..not that i can give you a recipe for detecting the really gay girls.. Appearances could be misleading.
What it would work maybe in general is to detect cool, grounded, open minded girls. Girls that , well, could refuse a possible romantic interest but still be your friends somehow. Most likely you can talk your way into these things..at least their stand on gays.
And if they are ok you go from there..who knows..maybe they are interested in experiencing at least.
I know..easier said than done..
Dont get tricked though by some, well. classical club behaviours..We girls sometimes really had to pretend we are toghether and very not interested in men, just to avoid the insistant idiots, which was working very well..

Hey,first of all,I`m really glad to know there are romanian girls on this site,it`s great.Secondly,I agree with zzz and Leo,there are some open-minded people here you just have to find and start talking to,be yourself and who knows what might work out..,and I admire your courage("balls" hehe) and if you or anyone else need someone to talk to,I`m a good listener(really:D),and I would really like to meet more open minded people as well.
