31 years together and still in love

31 years ago today (Nov 21,2010) I met my love at Proctor Park. We happen to be at softball practice and who knew that my life would change forever. Back then we had to hide that we were in love with each other and it was hard since I was 17 and she was 16. The times we are in now are actually not much better, I hear a lot about gay kids committing suicide because of bullying. We are very fortunate that we have a great family that supports our relationship. We also have friends that knew us when we first met and we all remain close, even though
We have lost a lot of great friends due to horrible circumstances; they will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts always.
There may be certain situations that we avoid or maybe we can’t display affection at all times in public but never give up on who you truly love. Remember love conquers all and if the person is truly worth it, the good always outweighs the bad… Happy Anniversary Trisha, you have given me the best 31 years of my life and I look forward to the next 31 years and growing old with you. <3
The profile pic was taken 1981, our first duplex apt on the corner of 7 ½ street and studewood. Houston Texas.. That duplex is still there.
